The Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) maintains several committees that ensure quality, integrity, and fairness across all aspects of certification, examination, and ethics review. Each committee is composed of qualified professionals who bring valuable expertise to uphold QABA’s mission of excellence in applied behavior analysis.
Exam Writing Committee
Creating high-quality exam content every week
The Exam Writing Committee is composed of QABA-certified individuals holding the QBA level certification.
Members of this committee are responsible for creating new examination questions on a weekly basis. These questions are submitted for review by the Exam Review Committee to ensure alignment with QABA standards, current research, and professional practice.

Exam Review Committee
Ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance
The Exam Review Committee is made up of experienced QBA-level certificants with at least two years of active certification and prior experience in reviewing academic or test questions.
This committee carefully reviews, refines, and validates all examination questions submitted by the Exam Writing Committee to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance before they are added to the certification exams.

Exam Translation Committee
Making QABA exams accessible across languages
The Exam Translation Committee consists of qualified translators and bilingual ABA professionals who ensure QABA exams are accessible across languages and cultures.
Committee members are responsible for translating exam content from English into the target language while maintaining technical precision and consistency in applied behavior analysis terminology.

Ethics Committee
Safeguarding professional integrity
The Ethics Committee plays a critical role in maintaining professional integrity across all QABA certificants.
This committee reviews and investigates ethics complaints submitted to QABA and determines appropriate outcomes in accordance with the QABA Professional and Ethical Compliance Code. Members are selected based on their experience, impartiality, and commitment to ethical standards.
